We had an amazing tour today! Tyler was a fantastic guide. We saw the city, laughed so much and enjoyed the stop at the food trucks midway. Our guide was a true city expert, and very entertaining the whole time! You have to do this if you're in town. The bikes get lots of attention - people you pass will be waving and smiling at you. Check it out!
Tyler was our tour guide and he was hilarious, fun and super entertaining. We took our kids with us (6 & 8) and they loved every second of it. I highly recommend doing this if you are visiting Austin! You wont regret it!
Absolutely amazing experience!!! Our "gang leader" was Patrick and was just awesome! He was so friendly and very knowledgeable about Austin. Patrick explained everything exceedingly well and thoroughly. He is just straight up an awesome dude. This experience is worth MUCH more than what we paid for. Definitely will be revisiting next time we're in Austin!
Amazing ride to see the city of Austin! Loved tour guide Patrick! Amazing food trucks! Highly recommend for anyone visiting this fun city!
This is really a must do activity for anyone in Austin wanting to discover the city in a fun and interesting way. Our guide took us arround different parts of Austin making various stops to tell us about the city’s history, he made it extremely fun to learn. And of course riding the actual bikes was really cool ! Anyway all in all an amazing attraction which i would recommend fully !
I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. Do it -- you'll be glad you did. More
This experience is a blast! Where else can you lean back on your own fat boy and cruise the City without a license to ride? Granted, they top out at 20mph and your guide takes pretty good care to make sure you don't end up in crazy bad traffic. We went out on the morning trek with Justin. He did a great job teaching us the basics before we hit the road. It is important to remember this is a 'tour', not just a ride. Consequently, you make several stops during the tour to dismount, chat and take pictures. In addition, you only move as fast as the slowest rider. Unfortunately, they don't subscribe to the theory of Survival of the Fittest.Justin did a fine job explaining little factoids about the city as we tolled around. Our group was most interested in scenery and music, so those are the sites that he spent most of his time on. The only regret I have is I would have liked the option of cruising around a bit on my own at the end and just letting the bike fly down the streets. I think 20 miles per hour may be understating the performance of these beasts, but we never really had a chance to find out. More
We had so much fun on this tour. Pat was a fantastic guide and got us around to what we wanted to see safely and efficiently. A great way to see attractions and murals around the city. They are flexible and can adjust the route to cover what your or your group are looking to explore. The bikes were easy to pick up, and drivers in Austin were largely friendly to our group even as we shared the road with them.
What a great time we had on the mini-bikes! Wasn't sure what to expect, but Tyler did it up right for us!He showed us some beautiful sites of Austin, we made a stop for BBQ along the way, took photos, and thoroughly enjoyed our ride. We definitely recommend 'Your Biker Gang' while visiting Austin! It's a blast!
This was a very fun, educational, and fun experience. Yep. I typed fun twice!Great tour of Austin. Saw many colorful artistic murals, big beautiful skyscrapers downtown, Austin City Limits, Willie Nelson's statue, the State Capitol, Governor's Mansion, Sandra Bullock's restaurant, Austin City Hall, and the beautiful people of Austin along the sidewalks. Our tour-guide was Patrick. Great guy. Very positive and optimistic, and smiling the entire time. He took a lot of care to ensure we were all safe in learning how to ride the electric motorbikes, as well as test driving in the back alley and parking garage nearby. He provided a very informative, educational, and fun ride, with about 7 or 8 stops along the way. Even had some good-natured, friendly baseball rivalry banter with him being a Yankees fan and I a Red Sox fan... all the way down in here in Texas!Highly recommended! More
