My hubby and 2 kids said that Tyler was awesome! He was patient, knew the subject matter, knew the streets of Austin and was a great instructor! So much so that they wanted to do it again the next day! It was so much fun that we have decided that this would be a great bday gift for our friends and family. Am actually booking an appt. for next week as a bday gift for a friend's daughter! She is excited.....

I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. I had no idea what to expect going into this, but it ended up being so much fun!! I never realized how much actually goes into making graffiti, and I have sooo much respect for the artists! Definitely recommend this if you want to change things up a bit! Bring a couple drinks with a group of friends and make an awesome piece of art!
We were trying to decide as a family whether to do a segway or e-bike tour. So glad we chose this instead. The training done by Justin was short and effective. The tour was informative and showed us what we wanted to see. Never felt unsafe, not once. Tyler, our guide, with his cheesy biker music and biker names for us all, was great. He knew a lot about the city and took us through some great landmarks. Great photo ops too. Just do it. You'll have a blast.
Enjoyed it very much. Trip plan covered most of Austin's landmarks. The guide from rooster was very good.
What a great way to spend just over two hours.You see plenty off sights along the way,The guide was simply fantastic and funny.Well worth every penny .
I'm not really into tours, but I LOVED this experience. Joe was our tour guide and he was amazing!! Joe took all the pictures for me and my fiancé. This was our first time in Austin and within this tour, we would have not have seen all the cool places that Joe should us. Trust me, its worth it!
We participated in this adventure with our teen/young adult children and our whole family universally agreed that it was tons of fun. It was a great way to see the city of Austin, our guide was very friendly and funny, and my kids loved the stop at the Graffiti Park at Castle Hills, complete with a chance to spray paint things for themselves. (Spray paint provided as part of the tour.)
Found this thru a google search and had a blast! Patrick was very informative, full of fun facts and took us thru some cool areas! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun family tour!
