Hands down, THE BEST tour I have ever been on. I have traveled to many cities and we always do the touristy thing and find some sort of city tour. I happened to come across this one and it sounded like a great time. Some may say the price is steep, but it is two full hours of non stop fun. You get looks of jealous people wanting to ride, you are totally immersed in the city and you get to see things you probably would not see driving around. I booked a week in advance and chose the food and city tour because of the time it started. They had a earlier city tour without the food truck stop but it was too early for my liking. Booking online was easy, and filling out the waivers online is highly recommended. I really like that the company communicates really well leading up to your tour day. Our guide even text us the morning of which I thought was great. Added bonus, they provide ponchos for inclement weather and water bottles. Who does that!!?We arrived about 20 minutes early and was greeted by our awesome host Tyler. The positive energy we got from him was amazing. We knew we were in for a good time just from the initial meet and greet. Hands down the best tour guide in Austin! I paid for 3 bikes, and we were joined by 3 others. Tyler had all our bikes ready to go. After a quick safety speech, we had to practice going in circles in the parking lot. If you know how to ride a bike, this should come easy. It has been awhile since I have been on a bike, so I was a little wobbly at first. These electric bikes were a little more powerful than I expected. Apparently this was the hardest part because once we were out on the street, the old saying about never forgetting how to ride a bike became very true. We truly felt like a biker gang cruising down the streets. I channeled some Sons of Anarchy bad assness and wished someone would mess with my crew. We made some really cool stops before we stopped at a lot with a bunch of food trucks. If I had to change anything, I would just do the city tour and not the food and city tour. I felt like precious riding time was taken away by stopping for food. It totally did not take away from my enjoyment, I just would have loved to ride longer. I can not wait to try this out again when I am back in town and I am already planning to try them out in San Antonio very soon!
